Open Ears and Open Eyes
What are your ears hearing this week? What are your eyes seeing this week? Have you heard God speak? Have you seen God move? We all benefit from hearing each other speak about our encounters with God. So please tell us in what ways you have witnessed God speaking or moving in your life. Maybe you heard a song that inspired you, maybe your child said something that blew your mind, or maybe you witnessed God in creation. Tell us so that we can be aware of how God is moving in his body!

…wow, what are my ears hearing…I’d call it the wonder of LIFE…the shear beauty of youth, the gift of health…the touch of friends…of feeling God in the midst “of it all”…
I am seeing God teach me that His call to obedience requires what one might call simple self discipline…simple until I allow the petty things of relationships and responsibilities get in the way. And then He restores me. While He reminds me. That my concerns cannot become my worries. (How do you like those sentence fragments?)
And he sends a child to set me straight. Or a peer to adjust my gaze. Or a wife to show me who I am. Or the beauty of his creation to give me pause. Or better yet a family to love me as He might if he were standing right here.
Take a listen to these…they have been filling my cup now for several weeks. I find awesome power in the crescendo of release…the praise offered to a Mighty God. “I Will Rise” will be one of the great hymns of our time…Just sayin.
